Meet Patch! This sweet boy is full of charm and personality, with a heart of gold. At just 12 months old, he's been through quite a lot in his short life, but he's emerged stronger and ready to share all the love he has to offer. Patch's journey started off a bit rough-he was sadly abandoned and left to fend for himself in the bush. Luckily, he was found and brought to safety. Patch got a second chance when a kind soul adopted him, travelling six hours to give him a loving home. Under their care, Patch thrived and learned that not everyone is unkind. Unfortunately, his new owner had to make the tough decision to surrender him, but that's where his luck shines again-he's now with one of our amazing carers, and he's loving life! Patch is doing wonderfully in his foster home, where he enjoys running, playing, and socialising with other dogs. He has a goofy, playful side that will make you smile every day. While he's happy to chill out on his own now and then, Patch also loves being around his humans, sitting with them and watching the fun as the other dogs play. Patch is great with children, though, like all dogs, he should be supervised when around them. He's also a well-behaved travel buddy who loves car rides-especially with the window down so he can feel the breeze on his face! While Patch has a bit of food guarding behavior, he's making amazing progress, and his carer is working hard with him. He would do best in a home where meals are fed separately, especially if there are other dogs. Patch is ready to bring laughter, joy, and lots of love into your home.
