Overview

Autumn is a gentle and talkative lady who settled into her foster home after about a week and has since claimed her favourite perch-curled up in the cat tree by the window, watching the world go by. Though shy at first, Autumn warms up to people and will happily lean in for head and tail-base pats, making her affection known in her own quiet, quirky way. Autumn expects her meals right on schedule and will let you know with some impressive vocal performances, complete with dramatic meows and her signature open-mouthed chatter. She doesn't like to be picked up, but she'll approach you for attention and will even take food gently from your hand. Autumn is easy to care for, uses her scratching post, and enjoys a peaceful environment where she can relax and be close to her people on her own terms. While she has shared space with another submissive cat, Autumn tends to be quite bossy and would do best as the only feline in the home. She's not aggressive, but she doesn't enjoy the company of confident or playful cats and prefers a calm environment where she can be in charge. Autumn is a little scared of toys at the moment but she thrives on quiet companionship, a comfy spot in the sun, and a human who respects her space and schedule. Note: This cat is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another cat.
