Neville is a softie in a tough guy exterior. A heart as big as his head and he's learning more every day. This sweetheart's love language is belly rubs, nudging you for pats, smooshing you with his whole body, shadowing you around the house and marking you with his affection (in the form of drool smears). Toilet trained, calm and sleepy, he's ready for an indoor home with humans that will enjoy being nice and close to him when you're home. He can get a bit mouthy with too many pats, but nothing over the top and can be redirected with a toy. Neville could live with kids as long as they are dog savvy and can handle a big boy like him. He can live with another dog as long as they're female and of similar size. He's so content to relax on the lounge room floor with you nearby, and knows not to get on the furniture - though he'd be a lap dog if you let him! Neville is curious about the world and wants to discover every dog, human and scent in it, so be ready to build your arm muscles while he works to build his best manners on walks. He is making good progress with training and would do well with a confident and patient owner to lead him further on this journey. **Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
