Overview

Archer bonds hard and closely with his most favourite person, evident in his time in foster care. He is now ready to venture away from his temporary home and find a dedicated owner to put the patience, time and love into building this sweet boy's confidence in a forever home. Archer is a loving and loyal companion but struggles with meeting strangers. He is more comfortable in a quiet, female-dominant home that can take the time to show him new people aren't so scary. Archer walks beautifully on a lead especially if his favourite person selects a time of day it can just be the two of you, without being distracted by other animals or people. Archer struggles most with interacting with men and children therefore has built a strong connection with his foster mummy. He will allow pats, give affection and even feel comfortable enough to sunbake in the backyard every now and then on his own when his foster mum is close by. Archer is a quick learner and is currently working on the command "on your bed." He can be left alone for short bursts of time as long as he is inside where he is most comfortable. An owner who is home more often than not would be Archer's dream as he can fret when left alone for long periods of time or if he is made to stay outside. Despite Archer's special requirements he truly is a loving, oh so handsome and loyal boy who needs a little TLC to help him feel secure in himself, could this be you? If you'd like to meet this curly coated cutie please call today to book an appointment. Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
